A breeding breakthrough as the first single stem sunflower with deep burgundy petals! Procut Red offers superior quality for cut bouquets with stunning colour and long stems. Gorgeous on its own or in mixed bouquets. 10-15cm (4-6”) pollenless blooms.
 
Occasionally, this variety will branch, depending on temperature stress. When grown in cool temperatures, it has a slight nutty honey scent.
 
ProCut series only take 55 - 60 days to bloom from seed.

Sunflowers planted near rows of corn are said to increase yields. Sunflowers can be used to draw heavy metals, toxins, and even radiation from soil, but should be burned at the end of the season if grown for this purpose. Plant sunflowers amid squash plantings to improve pollination and overall production.
