About Hotchkiss Flower Farm

Hotchkiss Flower Farm & Farmstand is located North of Manning on Hwy 35. West on township road 930, and north to the end of the road on range road 234.

In 2021, the farm extended it's growing season with an addition of a 20x60 heated greenhouse. We currently grow early spring cut flowers in the greenhouse, and do not sell bedding plants. Occasionally we offer our extra plant starts in the farmstand that we do not have space to plant on the farm.

Annual Spring Tulip Tour in May and June where visitors are welcome to walk through our tulip rows of over 20,000 tulips that are planted on the farm. During the tulip tour the farmstand is open offering fresh tulip and daffodil bouquets, seeds, potting soil, worm castings and amendments, seed potatoes and more!

Annual Fall Bulb Sale happens in September. We offer bulbs in perennial packs or bulk. Pre-orders for fall bulbs generally open in August. Large volume discounts are available on bulk bulbs upon wholesale request.

Pre-Orders are offered in the spring and fall on perennials, seeds, bulk soil products, corms and more.

Retailer for Annelida Soil Solutions. In 2023 we teamed up with Annelida Soil Solutions to offer to our customers all the same products we use on our farm. These soil products are produced in Nisku Alberta in a worm composting facility. The worms compost food waste collected from local grocery stores such as Freson Bros to produce worm castings. We offer potting soil, pure castings and many more products that are produced at their facility.

Retailer for West Coast Seeds. In 2025 we were approved by West Coast Seeds as a retailer. We are the very first Farmstand in the middle of a flower field to be approved as a retailer of their seeds!

We grow as organic as possible. We use Worm Castings and good quality compost to grow all of our flowers, fruits and veggies. We also use ladybugs, Guinea Fowl and chickens to combat pest pressure on our farm. To keep our soil pest free, we use predatorial mushroom mycelium to hunt any harmful nematodes.

Previously, Hotchkiss Flower Farm was a farm to florist wholesale operation. In 2024 we started offering bouquets direct to customers via weekly subscription, orders and bloom bar events.  Our goal is to bring the freshest, most fragrant and long lasting locally grown flowers to our community via direct off the farm sales. We also hope to help people to have success growing in their own gardens!

Hey there,

My name is Kristy and I own and operate the Hotchkiss Flower Farm. My focus is regenerative agricultural practices, as organic and chemical free as possible. I also enjoy sharing any knowledge I pick up along the way about growing in our northern climate..
