The classic multi-colour mix for fresh or dried flowers. They hold their colour vibrantly dried. Pacific Mix includes blue, purple, pink, yellow, and white blossoms that can be enjoyed year-round when dried. Easy to grow and drought tolerant, a great flower for beginning flower gardeners. Up to 60cm (24”).
 
Start Statice seeds indoors 8-10 weeks before the last frost. Keep soil moist at 18-21°C (65-70°F). Seeds should sprout in 21-30 days. Provide ample light as soon as seedlings emerge. Transplant once night time temperatures are consistently above 10°C (50°F).
 
Starting
Sow seeds 5mm (1/4″) deep, and keep soil just moist, not wet. Thin to 40-45cm (16-18") apart.
 
Growing
Prior to transplanting, work the soil to a depth of 20cm (8") to improve drainage. If transplanting to a container, add a quantity of grit or perlite to achieve the same end. Remove any Statice plants after they have been killed by frost in order to avoid disease.
