A Spring Wedding dream. This tulip is perfect. Florists, brides and landscape designers are often swooned by the perfection of this tulip. This tulip has a reputation for being mistaken as a peony in arrangements. It actually is known to bloom as big as a peony bloom. It is also very fragrant. Can not get any better than this.

In our northern climate here in Hotchkiss area, it is a good practice to mulch over all bulbs with a layer of leaf mulch  and avoid any walking or driving over the planted bulbs during the winter. Also. during planting, amend the soil with bonemeal  and worm castings.
