If you are in growing zone 2, this is a FANTASTIC perennial for you!!! It looks like a cross between a snap dragon and a fox glove, and it comes back reliably every year. Not invasive, keeps to itself. Blooms a crisp spike of clean snowy white bell shaped blooms. As a cut flower, it blooms between the gap of when early sown foxgloves are done their first flush and the later snapdragons are starting to bloom. Having this as a perennial is a great cut flower option without having to think about planting something to fill that gap! Miss Manners just shows up!
 
Plant crown at soil level. Prefers moist but well draining humus rich soil, but will tolerate clay and wet soil. Recommended to amend soil with worm castings at time of planting to help it establish healthy roots in clay.
