Gold Soil Blend Plus+

Add this product to revive old depleted soil. Thus product was developed to grow heavy feeding plants such as tomatoes. This is a Highly concentrated blend of soil amendments, worm castings & Grade A compost. It must be mixed into other soil for light feeding plants otherwise it can burn them.

We use use 2 gallon of this product to 10 gallons of existing soil and mix it in. In beds that are in ground, I typically sprinkle one 40L bag over a row that is 4 feet wide by 15 feet long. The highly concentration of this product helps unlock existing nutrients in native soil. For planting peppers and tomatoes, I add 2 to 4 Handfuls into the bottom of the planting hole and mix it in.

Note from using this product on the farm : we have found that planting seedlings into beds amended with this product greatly help a plants cold and heat tolerance by about 5°c. It also helps raise the Brix levels of the plant creating pest and disease resistance. We also found flowers have better fragrances and more vibrant colours when grown in beds with this soil amendment. Vegetables become flavour enhanced and have a longer “shelf life” for storing.
