Perfect filler cut flower or hardy perennial for our northern Canadian climate. Not as cold hardy as Matrona, but it holds it's on in extreme cold and heat. Blooms look beautiful, even after a hard freeze. Foliage is gorgeous in the spring, and comes up very early. Established plants Can freeze hard in early spring and look unbothered. We've grown them for years on our farm, and they are always the best looking thing in the garden before the tulips in the spring and after the first hard freeze in the fall.
