Amazing Grey, Poppy Seed

The flowers of Amazing Grey poppy are such a smoky pale lilac colour they appear grey against their green foliage. The flowers appear about 65 days after direct sowing in spring, and are fully double, with an incredibly delicate texture. Like most poppies, Amazing Grey tends to self sow, but never becomes aggressive and it's very easy to control.
Annual.
 
Sow on the surface of the soil, or barely cover seeds. Thin to a minimum of 15cm (6″) apart. Poppy's do well to sprinkle on snow in very early spring. To start poppy's for transplanting, they do well in soil blocks in a cool place, or the winter sow method in clear plastic jugs.
